Dominic Yiangou is an analyst at RAND Europe. A member of the Science and Emerging Technology research team, his interests include emerging technologies (such as A.I and blockchain applications), space technology (including PNT tech), responsible innovation and science policy. Yiangou has experience across a range of methods including rapid evidence assessments, literature reviews, interviews, workshops, theory-based evaluations and case studies. He has experience working on various projects, including evaluations of the UK's ESA contributions, UKRI’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF), BEIS' Nuclear Innovation Programme, and the ESRC’s Productivity Programme. Other projects include: a study on clean energy R&I opportunities for DG RTD; a study on the use of generative AI in research ecosystems; a rapid evidence assessment on the ethics of newborn genome sequencing for Genomics England and an evidence review for digitalising welfare services in the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Prior to joining RAND, Yiangou completed his M.Sc. in science, technology and society at University College London and has a B.Sc. background in chemistry from The University of Kent.
