Enhancing In-House U.S. Government AI Talent

This paper provides public comment in response to the National Science Foundation's Request for Information, on behalf of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, concerning the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) action plan. The authors identify the highest priority policy actions that the U.S. government can take to address AI talent needs in government and leverage AI for national advantage.
