Social Equity
Social equity is the principle in public policy of fairness in access to opportunity, regardless of personal characteristic or background. RAND research considers equity in the analysis of programs and policies that aim to achieve fairness in opportunity across schools, workplaces, communities, and other settings, and across health, education, livelihood, public safety and security, infrastructure, and other topic areas.
