This report analyzes how the U.S. Coast Guard can contribute to supporting national strategic priorities throughout the 2020s and 2030s by enforcing the rules-based order and deterring aggressive behavior in the maritime domain to reduce ambiguity in the gray zone by the 2040s. This report is a part of the broader strategic foresight effort, Project Evergreen VI.
