Ishita Puri is a junior analyst at RAND Europe. Specialising in science and emerging technologies, Puri's main area of interest is higher education research policy, focusing on different models for research funding and collaborative innovation. Relevant work includes ongoing evaluations of the Global Challenges Research Fund, UK's dual support funding system, Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and National Space Innovation Programme. Through her experiences in the UK and South Asian research ecosystems, Puri has developed a diverse set of qualitative and quantitative research skills including rapid evidence assessment, regression modelling and value for money analysis. Puri holds an M.Sc. in international social and public policy (Research) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
