Program

Prospective students are encouraged to connect with faculty from the RAND School of Public Policy’s Master of National Security Policy program.

During this admissions event, Program director Raphael Cohen will moderate a panel featuring expert professors in a discussion of the program, courses, and unique opportunities available to students. Associate Dean Stefanie Howard will also be on hand to answer questions during the Q&A.

About the Degree Program

The Master of National Security Policy is designed to help students grow their careers and build the knowledge they need, contribute more at a senior level, apply tools and analytic frameworks, and understand the complex field of national security policy.

Taught by RAND experts, over the course of 9 months (full-time) or up to three years (part-time), students pursue a curriculum that challenges them to think critically and creatively about complex policy issues, graduating with a valuable set of skills, connections, and experience that will prepare them for a successful career in defense policy analysis and related fields.
