Education shapes lives profoundly, and it is vital that education programs and polices are effective and equitable.

RAND Education and Labor researchers study a wide variety of school topics. They range from STEM instruction, school reform, teachers’ use of instructional materials, school safety, the development of students’ social and emotional skills, training teachers, teachers’ working conditions and pay, wrap-around services in schools, dual enrollment and career and technical education, and out-of-school time programs.
