RAND Health Care holds grants to run four research centers, each of which enlist multiple interested parties to study a policy issue. Websites for research centers that are no longer actively operating are listed in the box below.

RAND Research Across Complementary and Integrative Health Institutions (REACH) Center
The RAND Research Across Complementary and Integrative Health Institutions (REACH) Center is a collaboration between the RAND Corporation and institutions that train complementary and integrative health (CIH) practitioners. Its purpose is to leverage the research infrastructure at the RAND Corporation to support collaborative research across and within these institutions.
RAND Center of Excellence on Health System Performance
The RAND Center of Excellence on Health System Performance focuses on identifying, classifying, tracking, and comparing health systems to pinpoint attributes that promote rapid implementation of evidence-based practices.
RAND Drug Policy Research Center
The RAND Drug Policy Research Center conducts research to help decisionmakers in the United States and throughout the world address issues involving alcohol and other drugs.
RAND-USC Schaeffer Opioid Policy Tools and Information Center (OPTIC)
The RAND-USC Schaeffer Opioid Policy Tools and Information Center (OPTIC) fosters innovative research to develop more powerful tools and methods for tackling the opioid epidemic.
